Frequently asked questions
Can my Jacksonville Navy child homeschool through deployments to NAS Jax or Mayport?
Yes. NAS Jacksonville and NAS Mayport families (Navy aviation, Maritime Patrol, Helicopter Maritime Strike) are a core First Coast demographic. Live classes run 8 AM – 5 PM ET with recorded sessions for deployment continuity. Florida's Notice of Intent homeschool registration is compatible with PCS moves; the FES-EO voucher remains active during deployments as long as Florida domicile is maintained.
How does the FES-EO voucher work for Jacksonville families?
Yes, fully. Smartious tuition starts from USD 423 per month and is voucher eligible, so the programme funding covers a large share of tuition and often leaves budget for textbooks, tutoring and activities. Request pricing through the enrolment form and we map your exact net cost under the programme the same day.
