What curricula do you offer?
Five core curricula: Cambridge IGCSE (and Edexcel), Cambridge A-Level, International Baccalaureate (IB), American Curriculum (with SAT/AP integration), and Kenya CBC. All are delivered by qualified teachers with curriculum-specific experience.
Where can we homeschool with Smartious?
Online globally (anywhere with internet), in-centre at our Nairobi Parklands or Karen Hardy locations, or home tutoring in 21 Nairobi areas, 27 UAE areas, 6 Kenya cities. We serve diaspora families in 14 countries primarily online.
How much does homeschooling with Smartious cost?
Pricing depends on curriculum, year level and delivery mode. We work with families across multiple budgets — premium full-day programmes at one end and focused subject-only support at the other. Book an assessment to receive personalised pricing recommendations.
Are your teachers qualified?
Yes — all Smartious teachers hold relevant academic qualifications (Bachelor's or higher in their teaching subject area), with verified teaching experience. Many hold curriculum-specific certifications from Cambridge, IB or local boards.
How do we track our child's progress?
Through the Smartious LMS — parents see live attendance, assignment submissions, grades, teacher feedback and progress reports. Weekly summaries and monthly progress reports keep families fully informed.
Can my child sit official examinations through Smartious?
Yes — we coordinate examination registration with Cambridge International, Edexcel, IB and KNEC for Smartious students. Examinations are sat at registered examination centres in your country.
Is online homeschooling effective?
Yes — when delivered with structured live 1-on-1 sessions, regular progress tracking, and active parent engagement. Smartious students consistently achieve their academic targets. The 1-on-1 format is more focused than typical classroom learning.
