Online homeschool in Kamloops, British Columbia
Live Cambridge IGCSE & A-Level for Kamloops and BC Interior families. Built for Thompson Rivers University, UBC Okanagan, UBC, plus Ivy League applications. BC DL Funding eligible. From USD 423 per month.
Kamloops families benefit from Thompson Rivers University's strong reputation and TRU Open Learning's leadership in distance education — Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level qualifications align well with TRU's flexible learning culture. Plus BC Interior families value Smartious live online instruction that removes the need to relocate to Vancouver or Kelowna for high school years. BC DL Funding (~$600 CAD/year) helps offset tuition.
Kamloops is BC's Interior commercial hub at the confluence of the North and South Thompson rivers — Thompson Rivers University (TRU, founded 2005 from former University College of the Cariboo) anchors the academic culture, plus TRU Open Learning (Canada's leading distance university). Forestry, ranching, mining, plus growing tourism and tech, plus significant Indigenous (Secwépemc/Shuswap) populations create distinctive BC Interior homeschool families. BC DL Funding eligible.
