Online homeschool in Kelowna, British Columbia
Live Cambridge IGCSE & A-Level for Kelowna and Okanagan Valley families. Built for UBC Okanagan, UBC Vancouver, plus Ivy League and Pacific Rim international applications. BC DL Funding eligible. From USD 423 per month.
Kelowna families benefit from UBC Okanagan's direct connection to UBC Vancouver — Cambridge qualifications open both campuses plus all UBC graduate-degree pathways. Plus Okanagan's remote-friendly culture (many tech-remote families relocating from Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto) makes Smartious live online instruction a natural fit.
Kelowna is the heart of BC's Okanagan Valley — UBC Okanagan (UBC-O) provides the same UBC academic standards as the Vancouver campus, plus Okanagan College for trades/applied programmes. Kelowna's wine industry, healthcare hub (Kelowna General Hospital), and emerging tech sector (Disney Animation Studios Kelowna, Bardel Entertainment, Lululemon corporate) create growing demand for Cambridge IGCSE/A-Level depth.

Frequently asked questions
How does Smartious work with Central Okanagan School District (SD23) and BC DL Funding?
Kelowna families can register as homeschoolers with SD23 (Central Okanagan School District) directly or register with a BC Distributed Learning school for DL Funding (~$600 CAD/year per child). DL Funding offsets Smartious tuition where families register through a DL school. We provide receipts and curriculum documentation.
Does Smartious help Kelowna families apply to UBC Okanagan?
Yes. UBC Okanagan (UBC-O) accepts Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level on equal footing with BC Grade 12 — same UBC standards as the Vancouver campus. UBC-O Faculty of Science, Faculty of Engineering (School of Engineering), Faculty of Health and Social Development, Faculty of Management, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences all welcome Cambridge-strengthened applications. We provide free UBC application support including UBC-O preference indication.
