Frequently asked questions
Can my Orlando theme-park performer child homeschool around Disney/Universal show schedules?
Yes — this is one of our strongest Orlando use cases. Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, and theme-park performers have variable show schedules. Live classes run 8 AM – 5 PM ET (mornings free up afternoons/evenings for performances), all sessions are recorded for catch-up. Florida's homeschool pathway (Notice of Intent) is fully compatible with entertainment-industry schedules, and the FES-EO voucher covers Smartious tuition completely.
Does the FES-EO voucher work for Orlando families using Smartious?
Yes — fully. FES-EO provides approximately $7,800 per child per year via Step Up For Students, distributed through ClassWallet. Smartious (from $5,076/year) uses about 65% of the voucher; the remaining $2,700+ funds textbooks, theme-park-cast member training programmes, sports, or rollover. Orange County, Seminole County, and Osceola County families all participate identically.
Which Orlando neighborhoods and surrounding areas do you serve?
All of Greater Orlando including Winter Park, College Park, Baldwin Park, Dr. Phillips, Windermere, Bay Hill, Lake Nona, Hunter's Creek, Avalon Park, Celebration, plus Oviedo, Winter Garden, Clermont, Sanford, Kissimmee, Lake Mary, and Apopka. Brevard County (Melbourne, Cocoa Beach — Patrick Space Force Base families) also access identical service.
