Online school and homeschool in Kharkiv

For Kharkiv families remaining in city or displaced elsewhere in Ukraine or abroad — NIX Solutions + GlobalLogic Ukraine (Hitachi-owned) + EPAM Kharkiv tech corporate families and V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University academic community.

Live online Cambridge IGCSE, A-Level, IB Diploma, American AP, and Ontario OSSD for Kharkiv families. Kharkiv is Ukraine's pre-war second-largest city with substantial technology corporate concentration — NIX Solutions, GlobalLogic Ukraine (Hitachi-owned), EPAM Kharkiv operations, plus V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (Ukraine's second-oldest, 1804). Since February 2022, Kharkiv has faced substantial war disruption due to proximity to the Russian border. Many Kharkiv families have relocated within Ukraine (to Lviv, Kyiv, Uzhhorod, Chernivtsi) or abroad (Poland, Germany, Czech Republic). Smartious serves Kharkiv-origin families regardless of current location through consistent Cambridge/IB/American curriculum with cross-country cohort.

Why Kharkiv families choose Smartious

Education continuity through war displacement: Kharkiv families displaced within Ukraine (Lviv, Kyiv, Uzhhorod, Chernivtsi) or abroad (Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, UK) keep the same Cambridge, IB or American curriculum through live online classes, wherever they are living.
Curriculum consistency across relocations within Ukraine or abroad: Moving again does not mean changing school: the same teachers and curriculum follow the child, and Cambridge examinations can be sat at British Council Warsaw, Berlin or London, or in Kyiv when conditions permit.
NIX / GlobalLogic / EPAM tech corporate rotation portability: NIX Solutions, GlobalLogic Ukraine and EPAM Kharkiv families — many relocated to safer regions — keep curriculum continuity through each move, with Cambridge A-Level Mathematics + Computer Science + Physics for the tech pathway.
UK/US/Polish/German university pathway: Cambridge A-Level and IB Diploma lead to UK universities via UCAS and US universities via the Common Application. Cambridge A-Level is also accepted via uni-assist for German universities and through Polish university admission.
Close EET / EAT time zone alignment: Kharkiv is 1 hour behind Nairobi in winter (EET UTC+2) and on the same time in summer (EEST UTC+3). Live classes run 9 AM – 12 PM EET — natural morning school-day timing.

Common questions from Kharkiv families

Our Kharkiv family relocated to Poland/Germany — can Smartious support education continuity?

Yes, this is a core Smartious use case. Consistent Cambridge/IB curriculum regardless of location. Family relocating Kharkiv → Warsaw → potentially back to Ukraine continues same curriculum through all moves.
