Frequently asked questions
How does Smartious work with Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB) requirements?
London families file the standard Ontario one-time letter with TVDSB (Thames Valley District School Board) or LDCSB (London District Catholic School Board) declaring intent to homeschool. Both boards accept the letter routinely. Smartious provides Cambridge-aligned curriculum documentation for Western and other university applications.
Does Smartious help London families apply to Western Ivey and Schulich Medicine?
Yes. Western University accepts Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level on equal footing with Ontario Grade 12. Ivey HBA (top business school applications), Schulich Medicine direct-admission (highly competitive), Engineering, and the affiliated colleges (Brescia, Huron, King's) all welcome Cambridge-strengthened applications. We provide free OUAC and Common App support.
