Online homeschool in San Diego, California
Live Cambridge IGCSE & A-Level for San Diego families. Built for UC San Diego, military-family deployment flexibility, and biotech-track Stanford / Caltech applications.
San Diego serves Camp Pendleton, Naval Base Coronado, MCAS Miramar military families plus La Jolla biotech families. Both demographics benefit from Smartious — military for deployment-proof live online education, biotech for Cambridge's science depth (Biology, Chemistry, Physics A-Level) preparing UCSD and Caltech applications.
San Diego's massive military concentration (Camp Pendleton, Naval Base Coronado, Naval Base San Diego, MCRD, MCAS Miramar) plus biotech corridor (La Jolla, Sorrento Valley) creates two distinct homeschool demographics — military families homeschooling around deployments, and biotech families targeting UCSD/Stanford/MIT.

Frequently asked questions
Can my San Diego military child continue homeschool through PCS moves and deployments?
Yes — military families are a core San Diego demographic for Smartious. Live classes run 5 AM – 2 PM PT with all sessions recorded — your child stays academically continuous through PCS moves (within California or to any US/overseas posting). California PSA filing transfers smoothly when moving in-state; out-of-state PCS requires re-filing in the new state but homeschool curriculum (Smartious) continues uninterrupted. We provide transcripts that any new state's school district will accept.
How does Smartious work for La Jolla biotech families targeting UCSD School of Biological Sciences?
Tuition starts from USD 423 per month, and the exact figure depends on the pathway, the year group and the subjects your child takes. Request pricing through the enrolment form and we send the full structure the same day. Every programme includes live qualified teachers, recorded lessons for review, marked work and termly reports, with no surprise fees.
