Smartious Blended is our signature curriculum, developed in Nairobi over more than seven years of teaching practice. It combines the academic rigour and global recognition of Cambridge IGCSE with the practical, competency-focused relevance of Kenya's CBC — and adds what we believe a modern education needs: AI literacy, digital skills and entrepreneurial thinking. It is designed for families who want the best of an international curriculum without losing local relevance.

What it blends

The programme draws IGCSE's structured subject rigour and internationally-recognised assessment together with the CBC's emphasis on demonstrated competency and practical application. Students gain the academic foundation for global progression while staying grounded in skills that matter locally.

Modern skills built in

Alongside the core academic subjects, Smartious Blended embeds AI literacy — including guided use of our Mshauri AI tutor — digital skills, and an introduction to entrepreneurship and global citizenship. These are taught as integral parts of the curriculum, not optional extras.

Flexibility and pathways

The programme is adapted to each learner's age, level and goals. Because it is built on IGCSE foundations, students can transition to formal IGCSE, A-Level or IB pathways when ready, while those who remain gain a distinctive, future-focused education.
